Aida Ford Scholar Award Criteria
Introduction
In 2003 the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. International Christian Education Association established the Aida Ford Scholar Award Program. This scholar award program seeks to recognize talented persons who have published educationally significant books or literature.
Eligibility
Each candidate must exemplify some or all of the following qualities of Aida Ford. Each candidate must be a published writer, consistent supporter of Christian Education, sound in the Bible, a skilled teacher and an outstanding Sunday school student. Each candidate must also be a member in good standing of a PA of W Church demonstrating in every way an exceptional level of righteous ethics.
Nomination
Review of all submitted materials will be made by Scholar Award committee. Nominations will be submitted to the President of the International Christian Education Association and awards will be presented at the summer convention.
Required
A sealed letter of support written by the local Superintendent of Christian Education or pastor. This letter of support must be a statement intended to convince the reviewers of the candidate's eligibility.
Nomination Package
Submit a letter of support; 1 copy of the book with 2 copies of the cover, 2 copies of the forward, 2 copies of the table of contents and 2 copies of the first and last chapters. (Materials will not be returned). Submit a blank stamped self address post card if you wish to have immediate acknowledgement of submitted materials.
 
Deadline
Materials must be submitted by June 1, 2006
